The CDL Combination Vehicles Knowledge test is another standard test required for many commercial vehicles.

The Combinations exam is based on the CDL manual and tests your knowledge on the section that covers Combination Vehicles (Section 6). The topics in this section include:

  • Driving a combination vehicle safely.
  • Combination Vehicle air brakes.
  • Combination Vehicle anti-lock brakes.
  • Coupling and Uncoupling.
  • Combination vehicle inspection.

There are 20 multiple choice and true/false questions. You’ll need a score of 80% to pass (16 correct answers).
